old news in the world of manifest
3-12-02: Hello Friends.
It's been a while, since my last update.
Drum tracks are done!
Maybe, my prediction was right.
Our EP might be done by late Winter/early Spring.
We just need Jim and Carl to bust ass on their guitar/bass tracks.
Mix it, record it, and deliver oven fresh Manifest... to all those hungry Manifest fans.
anyways,
That's it, guys.
This is D.J. Jiggy Joe sayin'...
"A... I can't think of anything to say right now, so... Bye."
2-18-02: Hello Ladies and Gentlemen... On behalf of the band, we would like to thank all of those who came to see us play. We had a great show.
We look forward to playing again.
But until then...
This is D.J. Jiggy Joe sayin'...
"Keep yo ah's on da prize!"
(Keep your eyes on the prize)
2-12-02: Hey fellas.
Sunday's the gig.
As for band practice...
We jammed on our set twice.
The set is as follows:
"Julia", "Awake In Eden", "The Progressive Song", "10 Hours", "Army of Me", and "Standing On The Edge Of The World".
6 songs, and about 40-45 minutes to play them.
Pretty rockin' set.
Hopefully, we can get a record contract.
That's it for today, kids.
This is D.J. Jiggy Joe sayin'...
"If we don't get signed, it's their lose!"
2-5-02:
"Hello, my friend, we meet again.
It's been awhile, where should we begin?"
Enough of that Creed bull shit.
anyways,
What's goin' on, guys?
Ladies?
Hmmm...
It seems that band practice has been cancelled, do to illness of my guitarist/vocalist.
On behalf of the Millions...
And, millions of Manifest's fans...
We all wish little Jimmy a full recovery.
And, I guess, we'll just pick up next week.
But, until then...
This is D.J. Jiggy Joe sayin'...
"God Damn Dude! I looked forward to jammin' today."
1-26-02:
Ladies and Gentlemen, will you please welcome...
MANIFEST!
Yes, that's right.
You heard it here, folks.
Manifest live Feb. 17, 2002.
Stay tuned for further updates.
1-22-02:
Hello to all,
It's Joe, again.
Time for that update.
Hmmm...
Let's see here...
Let's start off with recording, shall we?
We got two drum tracks finished, today.
"Unbecoming" and "Earth, Sky, & I" are done.
That leaves one more song to go.
Not including our two cover songs, "Army of Me" and "The Bizarre".
We jammed on the last song, we have.
Entitled - "The Percussive Song".
(Still workin' on the title)
Hopefully, by next week, we can get that song done.
Which means, our album is finished.
Well, for the drum tracks, at least.
In other news,
Jim's sister's boyfriend...
This guy named, Brad, came down to see us.
He says, our recording sounds pretty cool, so...
Big Up to Brad, Yo !
anyways,
That's about it for this week, guys.
Check back here next Tuesday for another kick ass update from yours truly.
So, in closing...
This is D.J. Jiggy Joe sayin'...
"Son... quit playin' with it, you're go blind."
1-15-02:
Hey gang,
It's time for that ole update.
We just put the finishing touches on the drum track for "Julia", today.
We got 3 more (original) songs to go.
We're thinking of recording a couple covers...
But, hopefully, not until the record is complete.
anyways,
Practice/Jam/Recording went a little... so-so, today.
It was cut short.
No biggie.
We'll just pick it up were we left off, next week.
And, hopefully, we can pound out a couple more songs.
But, until then...
This is D.J. Jiggy Joe sayin'...
"Suck it, bitch... just like Mama taught ya".
1-8-02:
Hey guys, what's goin' on?
It's Joe.
Time for another Update.
Well, for starter's, we got two songs done, today.(drum tracks)
That new song, Julia, I was tellin' ya about it.
The drum track is already done.
I hear it last week, learned today, recorded today.
Am I kick ass or what?
And, it's not like it was an easy song.
It has like 3-4 different parts to it.
It only took about an hour to record it.
The song's about 4-5 minutes.
It's a possible hit single.
Along with "Endlessness", "Fade", "Rise", etc.
We also got the "10 Hours" drum track done, today.
We only got a couple more to do.
Then, Jim and Carl can lay their bass/guitar tracks down.
Mix it, edit, cut, paste, etc.
Bingo Bango, there ya go.
I say, look for our EP out by late Winter/early Spring 2002.
It should have around 10 songs/tracks.
A totally kick ass music experience from yours truly: MANIFEST.
anyways,
That's it for this week.
Check back around Tuesday.
Same Bat Time, Same Bat Channel.
See ya guys.
Take care, bye.
1-4-02:
Hey, what's up guys?
Happy New Year's to ya all.
It's time, now for an update...
A couple days ago/last Tuesday, me and da boys were jammin' a new song.
It's new twist on an old song.
This song is entitled, Julia.
Now, don't let the name fool ya, it's a kick ass rockin' tune, let tell ya.
After we get the song down pat, it's off to recording.
Speaking of recording, we are in the process of recording our first independent demo/EP.
We got like 10 songs lined up for it.
Hopefully, it'll be done soon and ready to share with ya folks.
anyways,
That's it for, now.
Check back for more new updates.
Peace Homies, one love. :)
12-05-01:
We opened for Cold Hand Of Christ down at Peabodys, a couple of weeks ago.
We had pretty awesome fan response.
Thank you to our Family, Fans, and Friends, who all came out to see us play.
We're sorry about our set getting cut short.
But, whatta ya gonna do?
Cry about it?
Hell No!
Go back and kick ass.
(With our music, not with our fists)
